Adrian Lai is the Co-founder and Managing Director of Orichal Partners, one of the few multi-strategy cryptocurrency investment and blockchain advisory firms in Asia. Adrian leads the blockchain project investments and collaborations with prominent projects such as SingularityNET, Zilliqa, GIFTO, etc. Adrian also looks after strategic partnerships of the firm.


Before co-founding Orichal Partners, Adrian worked at BlackRock for 3+ years. His latest role at BlackRock was an ESG analyst where he worked with chairmen and board members from 100+ listed companies across Asia on issues such as corporate

governance, corporate actions (e.g. M&A), cybersecurity and climate change risk. Adrian also worked at Marketing Team where he coordinated and delivered marketing strategies for retail and private bank clients. He was involved in designing and marketing the “BlackRock Plan” project, a robo-advising tool in Asia. Adrian also led the Technology Ambassador Committee at BlackRock, where he led the internal technology education effort and connected the external fintech ecosystem to BlackRock senior management and employees.


Outside of work, Adrian is the Community Partner of FinTech Connector, an online community that connects fintech entrepreneurs and start-ups (“innovators”) with thought leaders and subject matter experts (“Enablers”) in financial services. Moreover, Adrian is a fintech committee member of Invotech, a do-tank (not just a think-tank) dedicated to promote and support positive changes in Hong Kong through innovation and technology. Last but not least, Adrian has been invited to speak on fintech and entrepreneurship at various events.


Adrian graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong with a BBA degree and is certified in fintech by Massachusetts Institute of Technology.


 
Huayi is the Global Head of Electronic Trading Solutions at Daiwa Capital Markets, based in Hong Kong. He focused on Algorithmic Trading and High-Medium frequency electronic equities trading. He has previously worked at UBS for nearly 7 years, focusing on Algorithmic Trading, leading UBS expansion of Electronic Trading services in China. Prior to that, he worked as a principal engineer for ITG algorithmic trading group since 2005. His interest spans the whole vertical of trading, up to understanding client’s real needs and create win-win strategies, down to technical details for trading system.

Huayi has also been working closely with FinTech groups in APAC, promoting, advocating and advising on solutions that can change the financial industry.


 
David is a pioneer in adopting the blockchain technology into scalable business applications. Currently the CEO of Standard Kepler and Kepler Network. David advised on 10+ ICOs with a total amount raised of over US$400million. He is a columnist on the largest Traditional Chinese blockchain media Blockcast.it, and an active commentator on mainstream medias such as Apple Daily, SCMP, HKET, HKEJ and China Daily.


 
Dr. Paul Sin is a consulting partner with Deloitte China and Deloitte's Asia Pacific Blockchain Lab Leader, based in Hong Kong.

Dr. Sin has over 20 years of IT management and consulting experience focusing on the financial services sector. Prior to joining Deloitte, he served as the CEO of Fintech and CIO/IT Director for a number of major banks and brokerage firms, China JVs, and global conglomerates, and was Practice Leader for EY, PwC, and IBM, specialising in Emerging Technologies including AI/RPA, Blockchain, Big Data, and Digital.
